Apart from being a full-scholarship PhD candidate at USYD, Arianna Shang’s creative journey has spanned many fields and geographic locations. A Sydney-based model and dancer, mini-film / commercial director, and founder. Her work moves between editorial campaigns, mini-films, social media-style content, and the slow craft of building UNTREND — an online fashion accessory business curating from original designers over the world.

She grew up being a competitive national Latin dancer in China, studied film production and fashion in New York, models in Sydney, and now aims to bring her creativity and creative philosophy across the world. She is most herself at a fashion venue with the best outfit or on stage under the spotlight in front of a camera, and will talk to you about French philosophers at any hour.
